Our Process

Stage 1: Design Online

  • Get started: Answer a few simple questions to create a starting design.

  • Customise: Add, remove and adjust elements to fit your vision and see the impact on price.

  • Review: Save and review your design, and share with friends and family at any time.

  • Submit: When you're ready, submit your design (commitment-free) and schedule a call to discuss next steps.

Stage 2: Confirmation

  • Confirmation call: We will review your design together, get a better understanding of your site and answer any questions you have.

  • Site visit: We will usually do a short visit to your site to confirm measurements and access points.

  • Final review: After making any amendments to the design, you can do a final review of everything before making a commitment.

  • Down Payment: To accept our quote and lock in an installation date, you simply need to confirm acceptance on our website and make the first of four payments.  Design changes after this point may incurr additional cost.

Payment 1: <40% of total cost

This payment covers the purchase of materials for the building's structural timber and foundational work as well as long lead time items such as windows and doors.   We only charge for materials at this stage and your invoice will be itemised and specific to your build.

Stage 3: Preparation

  • Structural panels: As soon as the materials arrive we will get to work on building your bespoke structural panels in our workshop offsite.  This reduces disruption to you and allows us to bring your cost down through our advanced construction process.

  • Foundations: Whilst the panels are pre-fabricated offsite, we will install your foundations on-site. Ground screws are suitable for most rooms, but heavier builds (gyms, pool rooms etc) may require a concrete base.

Stage 4: On-site installation

  • Timber frame and roof: At a pre-agreed date, we will install the building structural frame including floor, walls and roof.

Payment 2: <30% of total cost

On satisfactory completion of the structural frame and foundations, you will make a payment to cover labour costs incurred and the next phase of materials

  • External walls: We will then install your external cladding, windows and doors and insulation, protecting the room from the elements.

  • Interior and electrics: Next comes the interior of the room, including all decoration, lighting, electrics and heating, if required.

Payment 3: <20% of total cost

On satisfactory completion of the interior decoration and electrics

  • Flooring: The final step will be to install your flooring (unless you opted for no flooring) and skirting.

Stage 5: Completion

  • Site Clean Up: We will complete any finishing touches and leave your property clean and tidy and will remove any rubbish created during construction.

  • Customer Satisfaction: Take two weeks to live in your building and report any issues. We’ll fix any snags free of charge and we value all feedback.

  • Improvements and suggestions: We will provide an opportunity for you to give us feedback. We always welcome suggestions on how we could improve.

  • Warrantees and Guarantee: After final payment, you’ll receive a comprehensive 10-year insurance backed guarantee for our work and all product related warrantees.  Download a quote from the design tool to see what's covered in our guarantee.

Payment 4: >10% (Final payment)
