- Who is Precision Rooms?
- Precision Rooms is a new, UK-based company specialising in designing and building high-quality, bespoke garden rooms for residential homeowners. We create versatile, comfortable spaces for use as home offices, gyms, studios, or relaxation areas, operating within a 2-hour driving radius of London. We are a new breed of construction firm who use modern methods of design and construction to increase precision, efficiency and ultimately bring down the cost of building work while improving quality.
- As a new company, how can I trust the quality of your work?
- While we are newly established, our team brings years of experience in construction and design. We use premium materials, adhere to UK building regulations, and offer a 10-year insurance backed guarantee for all our work to ensure peace of mind. We also invite you to view our portfolio or visit completed projects (where possible) to see our work firsthand.
- Where do you operate?
- We serve homeowners within a 2-hour driving radius of London, including areas such as Essex, Hertfordshire, Surrey, Kent, and Greater London. Contact us with your postcode to confirm if we cover your location.
- Can I visit a showroom or see a completed garden room?
- We do not have a showroom because we do not believe they represent good value for our customers. Showrooms (also known as marketing suites) are expensive - they are typically in premium rental locations and are staffed by multiple sales representatives. All of this costs money which is ultimately paid for by the customer because it is built into the price of the garden room. We just don't believe in a business model where customers pay to be sold to by salespeople. We understand that a garden room is a significant purchase and, as a customer, you want to fully understand what you are buying and be able to compare providers. For this reason we have invested in creating a highly accurate online visual representation of your design and a detailed online quoting system. We are always available on the phone or a video conference to answer any questions you have and we have construction specialists on hand to answer technical questions rather than salespeople. Finally we are always open to allowing you to visit our previous projects or speak to previous customers (subject to their permission).
- Why would someone choose Precision over larger brands?
- As a new, construction-tech business, we have two main advantages over larger, mature brands in the garden room space. Firstly, due to our modern efficient methods of construction and our low spend on sales and marketing, we are able to price significantly below the competition on like-for-like (or superior) basis. Secondly, in order to bring down their cost of production and increase profits, most large brands have resorted to standardising their products (set dimension choices, limited customisation options etc). Our product is genuinely bespoke, meaning that if your garden can accommodate a maximum building width of 372cm, then that is exactly what we can build. This can make a significant difference to the usable interior space and avoids creating wasted, unusable space down the side of the room. Being bespoke means you also have a much wider choice of internal and external materials and fittings and being a small company we can often accommodate your vision, however quirky.
